Happy 4th of July! Hope everyone has a safe one today!!!

My favorite extra we had at our wedding was our For the Modern Bride cardbox. I was nervous ordering it because you don't get it until the week of the wedding and you don't see a draft or anything just a photo of the final product.

What was you favorite extra/detail of your wedding?

We didn't really have any extras (at least, nothing I would consider extra) but I did love two details of our wedding.

My brother's birthday was two days after our wedding, so when we were doing our cake cutting, we also brought out a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake we had gotten for my brother and had the whole wedding sing happy birthday to my brother! We didn't tell ANYONE we were doing it so everyone was surprised and laughing.

My other favorite detail was our ENTRANCE! We used one of our favorite songs, 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' by The Darkness, and we were just so excited to get in there to that song! It set the tone for the party, definitely. Our boys carried mini Mets baseball bats, and we came out wearing crazy sunglasses (sort of our thing! Our table numbers were also pictures of us making faces and half of them included crazy sunglasses!) and it was a blast.

That's such a hard question for me because I didn't go over the top with most of my details. I loved the necklace I wore.

My program fans! The ultimate DIY, they were a crazy undertaking.

Or my sanddollar escort cards... writing on sanddollars was tough and DH made the boxes we put them in, but they came out great and everyone kept them.

OH and I almost forgot about the lanterns....

lurkers... if your getting married at Lands End spring for them and make sure you have them lit. Totally worth it.
