~*NWQOTD Tuesday!!*~

So it's not Tuesday on the West Coast yet, but I know it is in NY so I'm gonna post my question now, while I actually still remember it!

DH's birthday is next Friday and I've been trying to decide between a few meals to cook for him which helped me to come up with my question:

What is DH's favorite thing you know how to cook (small or large)? And if you're not the best cook, what's your favorite thing he knows how to cook?

DH is definitely not the cook in the family, he's finally got making pasta down. So since I am the cook, I experiment a lot and make a lot of really yummy things. I think his favorite thing I make is either my smoked gouda macaroni and cheese or my hash browns...which is almost the same thing except potatoes instead of pasta.

DH's favorite thing I make is my white chicken and spinach lasagna...basically it's a ricotta, spinach, and ground chicken filling with a chicken broth/cinnamon based bechemel sauce, and I cheat by using the no-boil noodles. A little labor intensive, but it's awesome.

DH is the cook. He actually made this meal on Sunday that was really good. It was chicken, pasta, and broccoli in this oil and garlic sauce.

DH is definitely the cook. My favorite thing that he makes is lasagna. He makes it with like 10 layers and it’s so delish.

i think DH's favorite thing I make is my chicken parm.

I have been cooking more often than DH, but when he does he is better at it....he is able to just 'whip something up' where I like to stick to recipes.

I think that DH's favorite is when I make my pulled pork in the slow cooker...when I have the time/energy I go all out and make mac and cheese from scratch as well as corn/black bean relish

Pork Chops... anyway he doesn't care. He loves them. (He's portuguese and their stereotype is to be called a pork chop). I don't like them very much. I will make them once in a while but I would much rather make chicken

Either my meatloaf or my chicken cutlets and rice. He would have the same thing over and over every day!

I don't have any special dishes that I make that DH really loves. His favorite dish is curry but that is way beyond my expertise. I guess chocolate chip cookie dough brownies would be his fave though!

I make this pasta dish with chopped fresh tomatos, garlic, fresh basil and a shot of balsamic vinegar - he loves it!!!

DH's current favorite is my chicken marsala and pasta. He would eat it every day if he could.

Its not exactly a 5 coarse meal lol but quesadillas... and all i do is use the maker... but he just goes nuts for them
