Ok ladies...some help please

I'm meeting wth my best friends mom on Thursday to talk about her shower which will be at a restaurant on the water. Her wedding is also taking place on the beach. That being said, we were thinking of doing a beach theme for the shower.

She's been one of my best friends since we were 13 years old (we've been through and done some wacky stuff) and I just want everything to be amazing for her!

Can you wonderful ladies throw out some outrageous suggestions for centerpieces and favors???

What about those white lanterns for centerpieces? They have a very beachy look to them, you can put sand a candle and some shells in it.

maybe cupcakes for favors with a crumb coating mimicking sand and a chocolate shell on top? Or drink coozies? Or nutter butter flip flops with the piping as her colors? In a bag with a tag?

you have FM about the centerpieces... also - forgot to include in there.. I have TONS of shells leftover if you want!

also for favors my girls did a flip flop cookies... i have the girls info if you want it. FM me

My shower was beach themed and it was great. My girls put pictures of DH and I all over the tables and the favors were adorondack chair tealight candle holders. like these Candle holders FM if you have any questions!

I have seen message in a bottle favors, also seashell compact mirrors. For a centerpiece you can have a vase with a candle inside surrounding the candle with sand,seashells & starfish.

For my mom's 50th surprise party, we had a beach theme, and for the CPs I bought fake hydrangeas and placed them in square vase and filled it with beach glass. I then sprinkled the remaining sea glass over the table. It was pretty and the colors of the beach glass popped against the hydrangeas. Plus, they doubled as a take home favor for the person who won the guessing game we played about her lol.

And as far a favors, I vote something edible. Like starfish or flip flops shaped cookies, or chocolates.

With a beach theme, there are so many possibilities!

My DH's cousin's shower was a beach theme. Im going to try and attach 2 pictures- 1 of the center pieces and the other of a picture collage on a mantel with seashell lights
