Oxford Health Insurance
I'll be switching over to FH's health plan at the end of the month and was just wondering what people thought of oxford. I currently have Empire.I was also wondering if they reimburse you for gym memberships at all.
I'm gonna call on lunch but I thought i'd ask you girls first.
TIA

I personally love Oxford. They have all the doctors I like in my network. They do still do a reimbursement for gym memberships.

Do you know how good they are at getting the $ back to you?

Re: Oxford Health Insurance
I never did it because I was enrolled in another program for the gym but you have to go a certain amount of times in a 6 month period.

Re: Oxford Health Insurance
I have Oxford and think they are pretty good - DH is on my insurance and he's a teacher! (Just meaning that my benefits are better than his). Also, I do the gym reimbursement - and you have to go to the gym 50 times in 6 months and you get a check for 200$ in the mail! I always get it within 2 weeks of submitting.ETA: no referrals needed on my plan

Re: Oxford Health Insurance
I used to have Oxford freedom which was great. All my doctors took it, I didn't need a referral and they paid for all sorts of procedures.

Re: Oxford Health Insurance
I like Oxford. I haven't had a problem with it since my company switched from Empire a year or 2 ago. All my doctors are on the plan, I never need a referral and prescription costs are good (unless it's like a tier 3 drug)Overall I like it, and yes they reimburse for gym memberships
