post wedding stress..
I fell and sprained my back/dislocated my knee two weeks after the wedding so I havent been working..And won't be for a long time. I'm trying to find an office job (or just somethin else, so I can go back to work), but I keep finding a dead end place. Do any of you ladies have any suggestions as to where I can go? EMS is completely out of the question for me...If not for a long time, forever
I'm so down lately, I stuck poor DH with all of our bills and now we are having trouble saving for a house

Re: post wedding stress..
you should try to send you resume to staffing agencies, they're usually pretty good with finding people something.

I'm so sorry to hear that! How stressful for you both
have you searched for receptionist jobs at salons, etc? maybe even somewhere like movie theaters where you can sit and take tickets...
Meanwhile, for extra money, try selling things on ebay. were you good in school? because tutoring is also an option...

I'm so sorry to hear that - I hope you get better soon!
Sometimes Craigslist has good options - especially for office work. I wish I had more info but just wanted to send you

Re: post wedding stress..
gahhh It deleted my long a$$ replyokay I was writing that you can also look into couponing while you are home so you can lighten the load of the cost of groceries. I'm being completely serious. I thought those extreme couponing shows were an exaggeration but one of my friends got into it and she saves TONS of money and gets lots of stuff for free if not dirt cheap. This includes deoderants, cereals, toothpaste, pasta, etc. If you have the free time, why not? It can be your way of contributing while you are looking for a job.
You can also spend some times researching other ways to save money like low cost recipes etc.
hope things turn around for you guys

Re: post wedding stress..
I knew I could count on you girls for help..I've been applying EVERYWHERE (using career builder, craigslist, and anything else I could think of)..It's just so depressing not being able to help...and I'm not getting paid disability..EMS is emergency medical service (EMT)
I love the couponing idea too..I've been trying that too
Thank you ladies
