Sorry I'm so late, I just got back :) the concert was amazing but my ears are still ringing which I am not a fan of.....but I will live :)

So my question.....

Where is your favorite spot for a day trip?

anywhere where i can walk, shop, and eat. lol.

this would include, walking around the city. going to street fairs. flea markets. etc.

i guess its not really a 'day trip'...but this is what came to mind...

and now my memories have me craving roasted corn on the cob. mmmmmm

Montauk
Up by Tarrytown & Hyde Park (touring some of the mansions)
Lunch & walking around with DH (Port Jeff / Cold Spring Harbor / Northport / Park Slope etc...)

Montauk lighthouse is #1 on the list
The outlets - to just walk around, hang out, shop (of course)
His parents house to just lay around in the pool

out east.

nowhere specific. just driving around, stopping at a few fruit & veggie stands, a winery or 2, shopping, and stopping at a little mom & pop joint for dinner. For me, the best plan is to not have one

i always say that we should go out east and hit up a winery and veggie stands. but we don't really know where to go

If you just keep driving down 25 or sound av u will hit both wineries and farm stands :) tastings are so cheap it worth it to pop in and check it out! I have some recommendations if you are interested :)
