Question for girls who got their full videos

Did your videographer give you all of the raw footage for your entire day? We finally watched the video today with our families and it was nice...but there were things still cut out or edited...and I want to see if it's the norm to get everything on a DVD. There was NO video of me walking down the aisle...only DH reaction and he went around to have people talk into the camera but only went to 2 tables...so if there is more footage I want it. My mom didn't really see me walk down the aisle from her seat and was waiting for the video to see it....and it wasn't even there! Not too happy right now. Hopefully he has it in the footage somewhere. How do you miss that in a freaking video?

you should get the raw footage, I dont have my video yet but we were told wed get all the raw footage

but id ask the videographer, to edit the video to include that in there, its kind of important!!!!
and would 100% ask for all the raw footage!

We have raw footage, and our video is only 2 1/2 hours long ... But then again, my photo/video was DH's choice due to budget

I really shoulda been a 2012 bride, maybe I coulda had real wedding vendors!

We got the RAW footage, but it was still edited. He still did his edits, but left a lot of it in....he is not editing the other version.

Which other version? The Raw footage with no edits? So 2 versions?

You should definately reach out and tell them what was missing and what edits you want. We had to do this also because there were some things missing that we knew were suppose to be included in it.

Yea I am going to text him today. So hopefully it will be fixed. He burned all of the copies (3) before I saw them...so hopefully it's not a big deal

ITA!

I requested raw footage in my video contract because I know that the videographer will only edit but so much. Its hard to put 10 hours in 3 - 5 mins. of video. My videographers will be sending our raw footage shortly.

we got our edited DVD, and then 2 cd's of unedited footage. That was in our contract though. I remember when checking out photo/video, some of them didn't include the unedited footage. check you contract, adnm then call them n let them know you didn't get it. Even if you aren't supposed to get it, I would still call to express that you are unhappy with how it came out because things are missing.

i got all of my footage back and my edited video as well. I would ask them for it.

Did you girls get your footage on tapes on DVD? He said we could get the raw footage it was on 3 tapes. I'm like tapes. how am I gunna play that? Just wondering so I know if I should ask to be put on DVD's
