I am beginning to hate holidays with ILs.


Just Sayin'.


I almost wish I had decided to spend it with my side this year, at least there baby advice was genuine and didn't make feel like I'm going to be this incompetent parent.

Don't let anyone get you down when it comes to your baby peanut!

If it makes you feel any better...I tried to play it safe and went with 'Happy Easter' and my MIL looked at me like I had SOME NERVE.....

yes, I am aware that this is the first holiday without my fil. but still, happy easter is pretty safe and conventional, no?

I would think so.

Another annoyance - we went to mass this morning, and me and DH sat up front while the rest came late and ended up in the back. Towards the end, we hear 'is there a doctor here?', an old man passed out, and then someone said 'he's having a heart attack' (i did see the man hold his left arm and start to convulse). ILs asked me what happened and I told them just what I saw and heard, and they think I'm 'over exaggerating'. I know what I saw and I know what a heard. Maybe he didn't have a heart attack - but don't bring it up again in the middle of the day and tell everyone that comes to the house I got all 'excited'.

yeah, because I'm excited to see people suffer.

I felt horrible. Poor guy, in a church too. I wonder if he was ok.
