rug colors (home decor)...with POLL (ADDED MORE PICS OF FURNITURE to help)

so we are ordering more furniture to complete our 'living room' area (which is divided with our dining room.....we are getting a dark wood entertainment center, a brown leather couch, and i already have an olive/neutral love seat which i love.

wall colors are like a light peanut butter. and we have a brick red accent wall on the other side.

i want to distinguish the dining room, which is light wood flooring from the living room area....so....
what rug ties everything in together?

i dont want dark, since the couch and entertainment piece will be dark, and its a small space.... but i want everythign to look cohesive. (i realize the olive chair doesnt exactly match, but its still in the neutral family).

any of these?

For some reason only 3 and 4 will show up. I really like # 3 but I think #4 will separate a little better cause it's more of the red.

QUESTION ABOUT #3 -- if all of our living room furniture is square/rectangle (like coffee table, etc), does the circle go?

i cant picture it, thats why im asking.

I def like #3 the best

I feel like I need to see pics of the space in order to officially make a judgment call.

But yes, rectangular furniture + circles on the rug would look totally fine, IMO

I voted for 1...its modern, fun and has the colors that will tie your room together...not to mention its on sale!!!!!!!

i know i dont want dark...but something about this rug is really cool....i dont think it would go at all tho

I LOVE 3 and 4. I might even have to steal them - I've been looking for new area rugs and those are the same colors I'm looking for

After seeing the furniture, I think it confirms it to me that 3 is def the best! Love it on it's own, but picturing it, I think it'll be great

and I think circular rug adds some softness to the room which has the square furniture, so its def better to go w/circles IMO
