where is the run?make sure you have a good meal the night before and in the moring. not sure how your body is with how long before you feel comfortable. make sure you stretch and pace yourself in the beginning you can always pick up the pace if you are feeling good!

Re: Running My First 5K Sunday!!
That's so exciting! Good luck!A few tips-
Don't try anything new (food/drink wise) race day. If you don't usually eat, then don't eat before. If you never have sports drinks or gels don't try them that day, etc.
It will be tempting- but start at your slower pace! You want to finish strong.
If you need to, slow down at the water station and have some.
Get there early so you can check in and you're not rushing. Go to the bathroom right away (even if you don't have to go).

If you're trained, you are all set. Enjoy yourself.

Re: Running My First 5K Sunday!!
Good luck to you! Super fun. Honestly for me i cant run on a full stomach. So do your normal routine you do any other time you run. I also never use sports drinks. I just drink water to keep hydrated. So make sure to hydrate with water only the night before. But not any thing excessive. Have fun & do your pace.

Thanks ladies! My goal was to do it under 40 minutes and I did it just over 38 minutes. That was such a great feeling. My husband said he is very proud of me and he's going to run the next one with me.
