Save the date question

Hey girls seems like only yesterday this question would be for me! Cant believe how fast time flies!
Question... my best friend is making her save the dates and her wedding is out of town. The church is in one location and the reception is a few towns over. Which town do you put on the save the date? Church or reception?

I put the reception location. A lot of people don't usually go to the church.

I didnt even put a town in my STD's. I dont think is necessary.
