Sexy Haircuts

I need to get the NW chop BADLY! My hair is too long and is just blah boring! I need a sexy style but have no clue what would look good on my face shape. Any ideas?

Go to KOBY at Alibi salon in Soho...he is a genius!!! He will totally asses your overall look and style and make suggestions.

He transformed my very long, non-layered hair into a fun, flirty, layered cut with bangs...I get compliments like everyday! I just got my bangs re-trimmed but I actually like them kinda longer so I will be letting them grow a bit but I never ever would have imagined the look if he didn't have the vision!

I think long layers would be great on you! Maybe some long side swipe bangs too!

I did bangs once...and I couldn't get used to them. Kept trying to brush them away from my eyes so I had a big space in the middle of them.

I think you would look SO good with them though. Just take the plunge!!! But make sure they have some weight to them.

I pull my hair back in a pony tail a lot for work. My hair is really thick -- can you flat iron bangs? lol



how do i make sure they still look good with a ponytail is basically what i'm saying...

ask for 'fringe' bangs....meaning that like you don't have a thick straight set of bangs and then long hair...fringe basically means there is a gradual progression....so when you pull it back into a ponytail there are some pieces that will fall....let me see if i can google a pic to show what i'm saying....

my hair is not thick but I have a lot of it. i got my hair blown out on tues and the guy used a clamp type brush for the bangs. i've never seen it before but it was kinda cool. you can get a really small barrel round brush and just pull them straight.

the reason i included carrie u's pic is because you can start with really long bangs as like training wheels....

Bex I said it before...but don't do the bangs. They come out really cute but they are REALLY annoying. Now that I've started this job I am growing them out so I can get them out of my face.

I loooove, looove the way bangs look!!! But I totally agree with the above post.. I have had bangs many times and once I cut them I love them for a month and then want to grow them out cause they would get in my eyes alot and I have sucky eyesight and all. They do look amazing though just make sure you cut them a littleshort, but not toooo short where it looks funny like my bangs below... I actually had bangs cut right before my high school reunion and they cut them way too short!!! I hated them.. see below..
