SHOE DYE ???

WHere can I buy shoe dye ?
I want to dye my wedding shoes a pink color for my best friends wedding. and then black after that.
Any clue where I can buy shoe dye. They are not 'dyeable' shoes, so i dont think a shoe-dying place would do it. But my brothers MIL has dyed these types of shoes before with no problem.

Just thought i'd post this. I did a search on SHOE DYE and found this on recipegoldmine.com:


SHOE DYE
(for canvas or linen shoes)

White liquid shoe polish
Food coloring

Squeeze some of the shoe polish into a bowl. Add food coloring and mix. Apply with a soft dry cloth.

Should I try it ?? Sounds too good to be true !

Why don't you have your brother ask his MIL for you? I have only had my shoes dyed at those places that offer to do it for you.
I had my BMs go to Dying for You to get their shoes dyed.

My SIL is getting back to me on that answer Her mom is little miss crafty and can get ANYTHING done, LOL. so im waiting to hear back! worse comes to worse if the color doesnt come out right, i can dye them black and keep them as black shoes.
