Since the boards are slow, I'll share some nursery progress!

Some of you may have seen some pics already on FB.

Here is DH painting the room. We are going to have one wall with that damask design and then putting the crib up against it.

This is the crib we're getting

and then, this is DH's special project. When we bought our house, they left some old furniture behind as a clause in our contract. They were an old couple who lived in our house for like 60 years and some of the pieces we kept with the intention of refinishing it.

Here is the chest we will be using in the nursery! It's great quality and coming out so nice!

We got beautiful new handles from restoration hardware and I can't wait to see them on!!! will post pics

no, DH is good but not that good

It's a stencil but I would never have the patience for it and he has to do it in stages so that it dries, In that first pic he is wiping off a smudge I think. He is being a super perfectionist.

love the room! is it restoration hardware? i am obsessed with their rooms, sooo pretty. you should take a look.

And it's funny because when we painted that room we painted it yellow so it'll be gender neutral for when we have a kid. Once we found out it was a girl though, we are going super girly

that would drive me crazy! with DH, i usualyl give him a day to do something. if it's not done, then i help. if he has no clue, i try it on my own. then we call my dad

I will post one next week when DH and I go for our 3d/4d ultrasound

We are waiting for this ultrasound to order the crib...just perchance our little girl is all of a sudden a boy

can't wait to see more detailed pics of the jellybean!
