So, I made it through my boss's baby shower...

I bought gifts for my boss and my colleague and I even brought in some food for the shower. So, I think they have no idea that I still feel pretty crappy about them completely ignoring my marriage.

2 of my other colleagues recently got engaged. While we were all milling around, someone else yelled out, 'oh, I hope you two get married at the same time so we can do a double bridal shower for you'.

My boss did not say a word. I left the room for a few minutes and then came back like nothing happened.

It was weird because afterward, we were talking about how our company is having open enrollment soon. I mentioned how I had wanted to add my husband on to my dental plan when we got back from our honeymoon, but I missed the cut off.

Then, my pregnant colleague said, 'oh, well, you need to have a qualifying event'

I was like, 'I DID...I GOT MARRIED'...

So, I guess no one really did notice that I got married over the summer...

I wouldn't do sh*t for any of them anymore.

But I have realized people just don't think sometimes.
Even a card that everyone signed would mean something.
