so mad

DH had an interview at 1pm ... he called me a few mins ago (yeah, at 1:08pm ... 8 mins after the interview was startig) ...

apparently he got to the building and it was locked ... he called the guy and was told 'oh, i was searching for your phone number but couldn't find it ... i'm going to have to reschedule - how about thursday?' ...

DH went into the city specifically for this dumb@ss ... took a cab to the place and everything ... for nothing

and how can this jerk say he doesn't have DH's number! DH emailed in his resume so the guy could've just checked that! I bet he just totally forgot about DH. freakin' @ss!!



poor DH is having no luck with jobs

I feel SO badly for your DH...and for you!

DH is in the throws of trying to find a new job and I'm about to start the process so I can totally relate to just how absurd and rude and unprofessional that is!

They did this to me One time when i was looking for a job.. I got out earli.. droive like 45 min to the location....
I got there and waitted until 9:00am...
I walked in and ppl were looking at me like '*** u doing here' so i said 'im here for the interview with Mrs. X'
they reply
'Sorry Mrs. X took the day off'

I left so MAD & they called me 2days after and I said 'No i dont wanna reschedule, what kind of job is that where the manager takes a day off when she had a meeting with me?!'

Thanks everyone!

Yeah - he won't reschedule to go back in ... but since he's been looking for a job for quite a while with no luck, he'll probably ask them if he could do a phone interview instead.

But if not, he's definitely not spending another $30 to go see these idiots!

OMG that is INSANE and INCONSIDERATE!!!!

I agree w/ above posters - if the person can't even keep an appt, it might be indicative of their mgt skills and be a very frustrating place to work.

Did they give him a reason why they were closed? Who is closed on a random Monday anyways? Unless someone died, I'd say they have no excuse.

they said they were very busy
They asked DH if he can 'wait' for them ... so he asked how long and they said 'um ... 3 hours'

WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?!
