Which one did you get in and out of the quickest?I am taking off of work tomorrow to go, and not sure which one to go to. Somewhere there is parking as well.
Thanks!

Re: Social Security offices
i went to Melville. It took about an hour. I got there at 8:35 abouit five minutes after it opened. Had I known people line up outside I would have gotten there earlier. Probably would have been much quicker if I got there at 8.ETA: there is a full parking lot. not sure where you're coming from though so this might be too far east or west for you

Re: Social Security offices
i went to the one in Brooklyn, but I knew better and had DH drive me. I got there before the doors opened and I was out of there in 20 minutes. But there is no parking nearby that is free - you'd have to feed the meter.

Re: Social Security offices
I went to the one in Queens. It opened at 7am, I got there around 7:30 and there was only one person on line. I was in and out in like 10 min. There is some parking there but they are all meters. No parking lot. DH drove me before work.

I think you have to go there.
It turns out I went to freeport...but since I put my queens address they sent me to Jamaica. It actually wasn't too crowded there...but finding parking was the worst part.

Apparently it matters what address you put on the form. I could have used my moms address in long island and would have been fine. I didn't realize that until all of the fb posts after I already left. lol
