Spin-Off from LIF TTC thread

Someone asked a question about telling your DH when you are ovulating...

I have been using the ovulation kits... and this morning I got the blue line... and i told him when he dropped me off at the train... and honestly he looked a little scared... lol

hes like so you wanna bang tonight? (no joke his exact words) lol so i said idk do you... and he got the same color as when he proposed... like he might pass out... lol I dont know if i will tell him in the future! LOL

now we know what u will be doing later.... da bang.

i don't tell him yet but it's only been 2 months that i've been tracking. we're not trying so i have no need to scare his peeps back into his pants.

I use to tell him when we were TTC, but I felt like it put too much pressure on him. So then I stopped telling him, but he figured it out when he was getting some everyday, twice a day for a few days in a row.

yeah... im assuming he'll figure it out... i just think the word Ovulating is something he finds terrifying...

My DH would have said the same exact thing to me ... I think i'd burst out laughing if he instead said 'lets make love' or 'lets make a baby' .. soooo not him... But we're def not trying to conceive so if i happened to say that now, he'd look at me and say 'umm.. im not coming anywhere near you for the next 3 days'

I don't test but DH is aware when I MIGHT be ovulating. Only because he actually read up on this.

ETA that in general he also keeps better track of my periods than I do! For serious! I am forever asking him when I got my period last, and he almost always knows!

He knows when I am only because I tend to want it more than usual for a hot day or two.

Like last night (and I should be ovulating).

But he fell asleep

dh told me the other day to make the appt and the gyno for blood work and prenatals..doc wants to make sure we r ok b4 we starrt trying

I haven't ovulated since I was 16...gotta love the pill
