So, anyone ever been? Thinking of maybe planning a trip but want to hear what anyone who went thought. Thanks!

I know a lot of girls LOVED it when they went on their honeymoons but DH and I were less then thrilled with the island. The island seemed very poor so anything we wanted to do was overpriced through sandalls. Also, we stayed at the Regency and there were 2 bars, the sports bar or the piano bar at night. Nothing was really hopin'. People were nice, the food was ok.

There were cats EVERYWHERE begging for food so of course we feed them more then ate ourselves. Most of the resturants were outside so it got a little hot and damp while eating. There was one resturant that had TERRIBLE service and we sat there for an hour before they even took our order, then another hour before our food even came out. It also rained the first 3 days we were there and then the last 2 days we were there, there was a hurricane out in the waters so the beach was closed.

Am I glad I went? Of course, it was my honeymoon. Would I go back? Nope. Would I recommend people to go there? Nope. Too many side weddings. Too many honeymooners. And not enough nightlife. Would have rather have gone to Aruba again!

it's beautiful there ... i aws only there for a single day while on a cruise but it was our favorite port.

we drove around the island, bought some strong freakin' rum, saw the pitons (2 mountains - you really should go, if you can), and relaxed on the beach. love it there!

absolutely loved it - it was the perfect honeymoon. would definitely go back, and highly recommend it to anyone willing to listen. if you click on my profile there's a link to my review of my HM.

Loved it and would go back in a heartbeat!
We stayed at the Sandals Grand for most of it, which was beautiful... I'd recommend though that if you can afford some of the resorts on the south side of the island - do that! Such as Anse Chastanet (we stayed there 3 nights - fabulous).. or Jalousie... there are a few others. The views on the south side are amazing.

We only stopped for 1 day on our HM Cruise but we loved it. It was beautiful! Thats where we went Whale Watching!! It was amazing!

We won a trip to Almond, but we are going to the barbados location - this July
