TASTE OF TIMES SQUARE

ENJOY INTERNATIONAL TASTES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

WHAT: One of New York City's most mouth-watering outdoor food festivals.

Times Square's top restaurants will be offering dishes from around the world, at the Crossroads of the World, at the 18th annual Taste of Times Square outdoor food and music festival, on the Broadway Plazas, between 42nd and 47th Streets, on Monday, June 6th, from 5 PM to 9 PM.

In addition there will be live entertainment, including special musical guests.

Stay tuned for a list of 2011 participating restaurants!

WHEN: June 6, 2011 (Come early for the best selection of food)

WHERE: Times Square, Broadway Plazas, between 42nd and 47th Streets

ADMISSION: FREE! There is no admission fee to the Taste of Times Square food festival. Each 'taste' ticket is $1 with most dishes ranging from $1-$5.

Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the food festival and in advance at the Times Square Visitor Center and Mini-Museum on 7th Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets.

OMG! I forgot about this!!!! I hope I can figure out how to get there from work and get DH to meet me!!!! I totally want to go and then I wouldn't have to cook dinner HAHA!

Virgirls BBQ is aaaaaaah-mazing!

I have an irrational fear of Times Sq (I drive a car in the city everyday for work so I have been committed to avoiding the area for the past 8 years and I've like brain washed myself into hating the area...weird, I know)....

has anyone been to this event before? is it crazy crowded?

i can just picture myself, ticket in hand, hungry, and being herded like sheep from line to line
