Temperature issues...
First thing DH did last night (and every night) when he gets home is put the A/C on to 69 degrees...cause he's hot. No matter that I'm freezing and bundled up.In the winter, he shuts the heat off, cause he's hot... no matter that I'm freezing and bundled up.
I told him this morning he needs to pick a season...
Of course, he picked summer...with a smirk, so I'm thinking I'm going to be having this same freakin conversation come December!

Re: Temperature issues...
I feel your pain. Like I said in a previous post I woke up FREEZING the other night. Yesterday I told DH he needs to not have the air so low when we go to bed, I can't be freezing. He said 'we'll see'. The other day my parents came for dinner and my dad said he had to leave because it was too cold in our apartment.I don't get why they have to have things so cold all the time! I walk around in sweats and DH is comfortable in his boxers. I'm with you, when do we get to be just as comfortable at home?

Re: Temperature issues...
I'm on the flip side - but i don't think its as extreme as you girls have it.In our relationship, I am perpetually hot. i mean, i overheat easily...like i worry about having a heat stroke in the summer. like i sweat at the first ray of sun.
I know its uncomfortable for the people who are bundled up (i never freze DH out because when its hot out, its just hot and we both appreciate the AC) but try to put yourselves in our shoes for one minute. Maybe i just think this way because i am a girl but....
i gross myself out because i am a woman and i think its disgusting that my shirt is wet from prespiration because i am always hot. i loathe the way my forehead drips in the summer because i am, again, continuously warm. I hate that when it gets so humid outside, i literally have trouble breathing because its so hot outside and just standing in the heat is painful. That everyone else can enjoy fun summer activities and i'm the one that, can somewhat enjoy the fun, but not get 100% into it because its just so d a m n hot!
I know its hard to picture these scenarios unless you walk a day in someone else's flip flops...but its just as horrible to us as to those who have to deal with us
ok, pity party over

Re: Temperature issues...
I'm sorry that you go through all that. DH is always hot too but I'm not telling him to turn the AC off I'm just asking him to lower it a little bit so I can get some sleep. I HATE being hot and I would much rather be cold BUT there is a difference between him making it unbelievably cold to the point no one can stand to be in there and making it comfortable. That's my temperature issue. I just want him to think about how I can't sleep or function in an apartment where it feels like it's going to snow.

Re: Temperature issues...
Ugh FH always turns the AC on, and I am always under a blanket! We have gotten better...when it is nice out, I ask him to open the window and turn on the fan to get air moving
Since our apartment faces West, it doesn't get too hot in here
We will see about the winter....

Re: Temperature issues...
It's easier to make yourself warmer then it is to make yourself cooler - you can only take off so many layers of clothes until you are just left naked and you cant take off your skin LOL.I am always hot - like no joke, I went to school in NH - we'd be having a blizzard and I'd be sweating. Its 1) embarassing 2) annyoing and 3) straight up uncomfortable most of the time.
I freeze DH at night but he understands that if I'm hot, I won't sleep - so he bundles up. In the winter, we put the heat on but it's SUPER low and if he is cold, he will bundle up.
He knows its harder for me to cool down then it is for him to warm up.
