Thoughts on this Betsey Johnson Dress?

Opinions? Yay? Nay? Too 80's? I know these types of dresses are popular now and they fit me nicely. It's for a wedding in Ireland in July- so their style is a little more over the top than over here. I don't want to be too boring.

Don't worry- I'm not at all offended. It is very Madonna-ish!

Thanks Becca- I'm still not 100% sold and since I have some time, I'm going to keep looking around and keep this one in the back of my brain in case I don't find anything else. I'm always open to more suggestions!

Honestly I don't love it but I do feel like you are one of those people who could put on a paper bag and make it look great so if you like it, go for it!

That's exactly my reasoning- they are over the top- feathers in their hair and everything.

And Ilana THANK YOU! I needed to smile, I just got yelled at for trying to get a bagel from the friggin place downstairs and I'm fuming!

Thanks! I've tried on dresses like this before and find that the flare starts higher up at the waist so it actually hides your hips!

OMG! Don't tempt me, I'm going to go find a hat with feathers and lace. They dressed to the nines for my wedding so I feel like I gotta live up to it!
