today's pet peeve

it drives me crazy when people who don't have money (or who are saving for something) spend money on things they don't need.

my friend wants to buy a netbook for $370 (plus tax & shipping) just so she can take it to her classes with her ... but she already has a laptop .... and she doesn't really have the money to spend on these things!

it just irritates me to no end when people want to buy things for the sake of buying .... especially things that are that expensive, and when they already have something that does similar!



k, i'm done ... so what's your peeve-of-the-day?

ETA: i know i can't tell people how to spend their money ... but it's annoying because she was JUST complaining about how she was poor yesterday ... and i know she'll be complaining again in the near-future. i just don't wanna hear it AND see you're wasting money!

I have so many pet peeves... LOL... Esp that DH does - like not putting the toilet seat down, not hanging up his wet towel, taking off his pants and leaving them in a crumpled pile on the floor, not fixing the couch cushions/pillows... But I deal. Cuz I love him!

Complainers--- Seriously? Stop complaining. You're suffering, I get it. And chances are if I'm in that situation with you then so am I. And listening to you complain makes me suffer more. More than you, probably.

Use your blinker (direction signal)!!! It's there for a reason!

And I hear ya on people spending money they don't have on things they don't need. BIL and his GF esp! last I checked you were in debt. So you move to MANHATTAN, buy 2 SHIh TZU's, go to several destination weddings in the CARRIBEAN, and buy several designer handbags like GUCCI and LV!

oh god!!!! you know what i do when people do that to me? I 'accidentially' throw back an elbow. works every time

Pet Peeve of today: People who work at the toll booth and do not say good morning back to you after you say and it don't say your are welcome when you say thank you.
