Trash the Dress Emergency! Bronx/Westchester

I'm scheduled to do my TTD this Saturday! I wanted to do it at Rye Playland so before scheduling my session I called them and was told they were open all of September! I call today to double check only to get a pre-recorded message that the park is closed until May 2011. Now I have a scheduled shoot and no place to do it! I'm freaking out and don't know what to do!

What about Adventureland? Luna Park in Coney Island? They are definitely still open!

Or maybe you can do a search for carnivals in the area this weekend.

You know what would be cool? A street fair in the city! Then you could go around and get cool city shots as well!

I have to see if DH would be willing to go there. He's kinda against TTD but is doing it b/c he knows I've really wanted to do it since we got engaged and I'm not happy with our wedding pics. So I'm trying to make it as less stressful as possible for him..... I just texted him if he'd be willing to go to COney Island...he response 'WHATEVER'.
GRR he's driving me nuts! I'm getting so stressed over it I'm beginning to think it's not meant to be and cancel the whole thing.

DH did the same thing to me. Would you be opposed to doing the shoot alone? I offered that and I guess that made DH realize how badly I really wanted to do it so he begrudgingly came along... and then had a blast!

AHA! He just texted me again b/c I said 'ok never mind' and he wanted to explain his 'WHATEVER' answer. He said it was whatever as in what ever you want to do b/c it's my shoot!

We wanted to do that in Irvington for our day of shots (I lived there when I was little), but it didn't work out because of the snow. Not all the sidewalks were shoveled and I wanted to go on the aqueduct and that obviously wasn't happening.
