UGH!!!!!!!

as you all know by now I was a budget bride...one of the things I saved money on was my best friend being my photographer, she will be doing my album but for the parents Iprinted out all the high res edited proofs I was given from my photographer (496 to be exact) and I put them in a book and numbered them as my photog had them numbered. I asked my mom first to go through the book and pick out the pics she wanted by number for her album and which pic she wanted for her 8x10, she did it effortlessly, her album is done and she already has it...now MIL clearly must have screws loose bc she has had the book for a month and i havent heard anythiing from her. DH was going over there today so I asked him to ask her about it bc I would like to get it done (plus I just got a coupon code) welllllllllllllllll he just calls me and asks me if we can get the black and white pictures in color? Um no, the photog edited it that way it was her creative eye...we do not have all the unedited pics...he says 'i dont see why we cant get them...' BC THERE IS 500 PICTURES FOR HER TO PIC....THIS IS NOT DIFFICULT I AM NOT BOTHERING MY FRIEND TO SEND ME A PICTURE TO PLEASE HER.....a simple task is even difficult...its everything with this woman...nothing that has to do with me will ever just be easy....

sorry but my blood is boiling and I needed you guys to vent to...

It shouldn't be that difficult to just switch the black and white to color. I don't know MIL but IMHO I don't think she's bring irrational to ask for it in color.

Happy anniversary, a little late :)

my MIL is 100% irrational, everything she does she has to be difficult. Always has to ask for somethingi dont have. I don't have access to my unedited pics so I cannot personally change it or I would. I just didn't think it was difficult to pick pictures....if she doesn't like a black and white pic then pic a color pic, there are tons. Best part is she never even told me which one so even if I could get the unedited pic from my photog, I don't know which one to ask for....

I feel your pain on MIL!!!!

I gave MIL our proofs to look through and told her to try and keep them in order. I got them back and they were every which way and all messed up!!! It took me 5 HOURS to get them back into shape. She had them for a month too and I finally told her 'I'm taking them back Friday, if you're not done then you're going to have to make your own album when I get the proofs on CD and put them on shutterfly.'
