Update on my parent's dog!

Yes, yes I'm back from my HM. It was an amazingggggggggg time. I'm really really trying to upload pictures to the computer but my camera, computer, and facebook are all conspiring against me. I'll get them up... eventually.

In the mean time, I wanted to let you know about my parent's dog Fonzi. Some of you may remember he took a sudden turn for the worst when my parents took him to the vet last week. He had a hernia, lymphoma cells, fluid in his lungs, as well as many complications stemming from those problems. He needs surgery to get rid of the hernia but the vet doesn't believe he'll survive the anasthesia. Well, my parents and the vet decided together that they would work on making him as comfortable as they possibly can for the time being and if his situation improves, they can consider the surgery. He's been on tons of medication and is actually doing better. My mom is still trying not to hope too hard, but when I saw Fonzi this weekend he was up and about- rolling around so I could rub his belly, jumping up when you say the word 'treat' and eating/drinking like he normally would. He hasn't been able to keep any food down so he's really thin and still kinda weak but he just got more meds on Sunday and he'll be going back to the vet again the weekend if he keeps improving the way he is so they can discuss the surgery. Just keep him and especially my parents in your prayers! And god bless you if you read this whole effing thing!

I'm so happy to hear he's doing better...here's to hoping he improves enough for surgery to be an option, and if not, at least he seems to be feeling pretty darn good!!!!
