Update on prayers

Soooo...unfortunately for once, the LIW prayers did NOT work


We had found a house we absolutely LOVED...seriously wanted to buy. Listead at $439, but through negotiation we landed on $415 and the seller ACCEPTED. We were set to do our inspection on Wednesday. On Monday another offer came in...we told her to please let us know what her decision was on that offer before we had the inspection so that we were not out the money. It comes to Wednesday morning, when we're told that she did not take the other offer, but ALSO that we should cancel the inspection.

After that the shiz really hit the fan...she completely dodged her RE agent, wouldn't return any calls or ANYTHING. Finally we get a call this morning from OUR RE agent...the woman is taking the house OFF THE MARKET!!!!!

We are so upset and completely pissed off...we really loved this house and got a great price...it would have been perfect for us. The way she completely jerked us around was unprofessional and downright MEAN...I have half a mind to go over there and tell her off (obviously I won't...but still).

Thanks anyway for the prayers...I know this probably happened for a reason, but I'm just SO upset...and its been a terrible week on top of everything else. Sigh...

Ahhhhh I'm sorry! I agree - your dream home is somewhere out there! What a crappy feeling though...to find an amazing house, have an offer accepted...and then poof...GONE!

Aww, Ilana...I had a feeling that it was about a house after what we talked about the other day, but didn't want to pry.

I'm really sorry. That must've been so emotionally draining. Not to mention the stress from not knowing where this was all going, and not being informed of things in a timely fashion.

Your home is out there. Somewhere. But for some reason, this wasn't it.

I'm so sorry!!! A similiar thing happened to us- we found the perfect house at an amazing price...on the market for a few days. We went to see it and the next day it was off the market I still wish we couldve gotten that house!

It sometimes takes awhile, but you'll find your dream house.

Trust me when i tell u this has happened for a reason. We had so much drama & money wasted in a house that we thought was the one only to have it fall apart. If it didnt work out we would not have found a bigger house at a better price. Your time will come!!!!

as i told DH when the house we wanted went to someone else... it wasnt ment to be and there is a better house out there for you guys. i know it sucks but it will come along. hnag in there!

Ilana- I am so sorry that happened to you. Sometimes people can be such azzholes. Did they give a reason. Maybe the house they were going to buy fell through or something like that. But if she was just dodging the agent it sounds like a nut case that might have just wanted to see what they can get for the house.
