Vaca?

Hi all,

We're going to Texas for a wedding this long weekend, then going to London in Sept. for a few days for our year anniversary. Then we MIGHT go to Mexico for a few days in January (to go with my mom to look at buying a house there ) . Despite this we were thinking of going somewhere else though this summer.

At first I was thinking of a cruise (both cruise virgins) but I think it's going to come to a lot of $ for a few days after hotel, air, and cruise. Then I was thinking of just going way out east but I don't know if that will feel like going away.

Re: Vaca?

you can get a cruise leaving from NY or NJ ... a lot of them are about $600 per person for a week (that's including tax) ... but just realize that most of the time, you'll want to go on excursions in whatever place you visit so that can add up (so can booze)

or how about p-town in MA? my mom goes yearly and loves it ... but i've never been so i can't really say

Re: Vaca?

What about a road trip? Mike and I try to do them if we can't do long vacations. Some of the ones we've been on were:

Ocean City, MD
Niagara Falls
Philly
Boston
Washington DC
Poconos

Or there's always Vegas or California

P-town? Providence town? I went once. I wouldn't recommend it.
