Want a good laugh?

So most of you know I'm leaving for Bermuda on Saturday. We're doing a cruise that leaves out of Jersey. Anyway, my parents are driving us to the port. So I was talking to my mother earlier and she asks when we are coming home. I say Thursday. Here is the rest of our conversation:

Mom: Who is picking you guys up?
Me: Daddy, he's on vaca....OMG he's on vacation this week not next week!
Mom: hahahahaha
Me: ughh I gotta go tell DH we're gonna be stranded in Bayonne!

I cannot believe I mixed up the weeks my dad was on vacation. I am such a planner this is not me at all! It really is pretty funny though, at least it will be once we figure this all out

Just thought you girls would get a laugh out of my stupidity!

Lots of cruise lines have sailings from there (also from NY) we're going on Royal Caribbean. It's great, no need to pay for airfare just to get to a port.

awwww llollll it happens.

btw, I took a cruise to Bermuda from NJ.....it felt great not having to take a plane somewhere. Enjoy it. Bermuda is beautiful.

your not going to wanna come home after a cruise to bermuda so being stranded in jersey might not be so bad! LOL

Oh man, I have made similar mistakes as well ... glad you realized it now and not later!

Maybe you guys can treat yourselves to a limo/towncar ride back ... you sure deserve a little splurge!
