wedding band

so DH and I were at a bar last weekend and the bartender started talking to us and he was wearing his wedding band on his right hand. turns out that he's getting married in 2 months but is wearing his ring now cause he feels married already. he said his fiance was annoyed that he was wearing it already.

we thought it was strange!

yeah, i wouldn't want DH wearing his ring BEFORE the wedding ..... i feel like it would make hte ring a little less special.

then again, it's sweet that the bartender is so devoted and whatnot

I think that's so sweet!! He's got an e-ring!

On a side note- some guy in our pre-cana class actually had an e-ring. Like with diamonds and stuff... and a wedding band in addition. It was... weird to me.

that is weird! maybe he felt left out cuz his fiance had and engagement ring and he didnt! lol no clue but i wouldnt let my hubby do that even if he wanted to!

DH and i wore our wedding bands around the house all the time, especially if we had a stressful day. We were weird, but when it came up in conversation w/ friends one day, they all said they did the same thing before they were married!

Was the bartender American? There are some countries where both the man's ring and the woman's are purchased during the engagement and worn on the right hand until the wedding.

I got my DH an e-ring. Kind of a mix of feminism and consumerism.
