Wedding help for a friend!
Hey ladies, my friend needs some help. She's trying to book a RH for her December 2011 wedding but she's having trouble deciding on a place. Right now her top 2 choices are Crest Hollow and Majestic Gardens but she feels like both are missing something. She's just not sure what.My question is what are some other places that are similar to these two that she can look at that may have what it is she feels the other two a re missing.
Or if anyone has something to share about her original two choices that may help her make her decision. It could be good or bad.
TIA!

Crest Hollow and Majestic Gardens are really different from one another - what are her favorite things about each place? I'm guessing the outside part? Is there a price point / pp min?

I'm not really sure what her favorite parts of each are. i do believe that she likes Crest Hollow a little more, if that helps. I'm not sure of an exact price point but I do know they are on a budget and trying to save whereever they can.

Ditto! I cannot think of one complaint I had about CHCC. The staff was great, the food was excellent, and the grounds are beautiful for pictures. I highly recommend CHCC!

Re: Wedding help for a friend!
I also should add that one of the things that helped with our decision was that at the time that we were looking for halls, DH and I only wanted to guarantee 110 ppl. (We ended up guaranteeing 120 and had 134 ppl so it worked out). We looked at places that would accomodate our type of 'small wedding' but some of the reception rooms seemed like it would be tight if we ended up with 120 or so ppl. What we really liked about CHCC is that they offered us the Emerald Room which could fit 300 ppl..they just closed off areas of it for our wedding which kept it from looking empty but at the same time there was a big enough dance floor for everyone. We also really liked the grounds and while we didn't have a tasting, my parents went to a wedding there a few months before and said the food was really good so we trusted their opinions. We were very happy with our choice.
