Wedding video wait time?

I just got an email from my video company saying

'Let me check out to see if we have everything we need from you guys and we will start the ball rolling and getting you in queue!' This was after they requested honeymoon pics.

I wrote back saying since the wedding was already a month ago, I imagined it was in the works!

Whats normal as far as time frame? They told me originally 3-6 months. I was hopping more around 2-3

They just wrote back saying 8-10 months!!!

YIKES!!!! 8-10 months?!?!!

i would bring up that they told you 2-3 months and that anything more than 6 is absurd

maybe a face to face meeting is necessary

I sent in my song selection in July, and was told I would get a call in November, so it's around 4 months.


I'd cal and ask why they expect it to take 8-10 months. Doesn't make sense to me!

I was told 3 months and the contract stated 3 -5 months. Got it in 3 1/2 months

i think that's too long. Before our wedding they had us pick out our song selection and as soon as we came back from our HM we dropped of our HM ppictures to them. we will be married 3 months on Monday and I just got my completed video yesterday.

Ughhhh... I feel like I am working with a company from the dark ages!!! I am gonna call them next week for an update... apparently the owner is away. GR!
