Re: What is your favorite/most useful Cook Book?

i have a few that i love... any of rachel ray's 30 minute meal cookbooks.... even though they all take more than 30 minutes- LOL, they've all come out great!
also... for the basics, i love my betty crocker red and white checkered cookbook...
and for the crockpot, ' fix it and forget it' cookbook is awesome!! so fun to just be able to throw some stuff in a pot, turn it on and come home to an already cooked dinner

Re: What is your favorite/most useful Cook Book?

i really dont have a favorite cook book, but i did receive a book for my shower from the people who attended the shower. each person had to bring a recipe and it was made into a book. I loved it because I have my families favorite meals when they come over my house.

I love Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals!
Also, the Joy of Cooking is an excellent reference.
My absolute favorite though is my 'The New Cookbook', I forget if it's Better Homes or Betty Crocker, but I learned to cook from it and have so many editions!!!

I go on Allrecipes.com when I want to do something different!
