whats better being engaged or being married?

being engaged or being married?

i have only been married for 20 days and i love it ... being engaged was way too stressful. being married feels really relaxed and comfortble. (well it could be that 13 out of the 20 days we were in hawaii living like rock stars haha)

i loved planning my wedding, even tho at times it was stressful i would do it all over again if i could

Good question, I loved wedding planning and I didn't have to cook dinner every night lol then (DH and I didn't live tog before we got married) but it was stressful as we planned our wedding in 7 mos..not sure, both has its pros and cons

I think both ways will stress you out b/c of wedding planning during the wedding and after being married, bills and settling in as husband and wife. I do absolutely love wedding planning! I had so much fun planning our wedding. I'm considering a side job as a wedding planner. I signed up for a wedding planning course to get my certification. This way if I ever decide to leave my job, I can still do what I love and do it as a p/t job.

I loved being engaged and wedding planning but I think being married is better. Can't explain it, guess I just like calling DH my hubby and hearing him call me his wife.

MARRIED, as much as I loved wedding planning it was nice once it was behind us and we spent our first weekend as husband and wife.

i loved being engaged - so much fun stuff to look foward to - the parties - engagement/shower/wedding - the wedding day, the honeymoon - all fun stuff!!

married is great too - also fun stuff to look foward too - buying a house - starting a famiy....but planning for a house and kids stresses me out WAY more than planning wedding did

i don't think one is better than the other - i think that for us being engaged vs being a newlywed are two totally different experiences - we lived together for years before getting married so there was no adjustment - but we are trying to get a house and move out of state this year and THAT is stressful i always say i'd love to go back to the days of wedding planning

being married definetly!! DH and i lived separate.. and the times we did meet, it was after a looongg drive and we had to drive back to our place and stuff..and the engagement period, was great, but it was just ridden w/ all wedding related appointments and trying to find a place to live.. now that we've been married a little over a year, i can't imagine how hard it was for us to hardly see each other and just talk on the phone..

I LOVE being married 100 times more.

Especially that we moved in the day after our wedding so everything is exciting. Still is!

ETA: And hearing DH in his Borat impression calling me his wife is the best! THIS IZ MY WIFEEEE. LOL.

Being married 100 times over. Being engaged only lasts a short period of time and while it's exciting it's super stressful, but marriage lasts a lifetime and you get the best gifts from it. I don't know why anyone would choose engagement over marriage, because that's where it was leading to anyway!

married life is much better than engaged for us anyway. We didnt live together so it made everything harder not being in the same home and owning our own things etc... we are so much more settled and comfortable and less stressed being married even though married life comes with its own set of stressers (like fixing a home, paying bills) but they are good stressers

Honestly, I loved being engaged and planning the wedding, but since I did mostly all DIY... I wouldnt do it again, so I have to say being married .... I can finally relax a little! lol
