Did you tell them what pictures you specifically wanted B&W, sepia etc?

Interesting question - I thought they would go into your album however they were on your printed proofs - so a b+w print, would be b+w in the album, no? Otherwise how would you know what to expect?

Check the file names. If they are different on the edited vs. non-edited disk then you need to differentiate which one you want. If they are 2 totally different file names you might not need to specify B&W.

All of our proofs were in color......we told the designer to use her own judgement as she's the creative one

We just gave in our picture selection and they told us they make the arrangment and everything...

Interesting - I just looked at the Duet order form and it asks for the proof number and then 'instruction' . . . I guess that is where you would specify? What else could 'instruction' be in this context?

I did not but that was because I didn't have a choice. In order to get a larger book then initally agreed upon, I was only alloweed to pick my pictures. I was not alloweed to make any adjustments. I LOVE the way my album came out.

We had to do a sit down meeting for our album where we discussed what we likes and dislikes and things like bw and sepia
