Work related vent

I'm a teacher, and some days wonder why I picked this profession. There is a girl at work who talks **** about me the time. She has a habit of telling me that my students don't like me and talk **** about me to her. Not to mention she talks about me other teachers in the building. I can't stand it. Some days I just want to punch her in the face.

Some people haven't matured and act the same way they did in middle school. Grrrrrr

i know that sometimes working in a school, it can be really political who you talk to based on your relationship with them, but it there anyway to tell the prinicpal - mor eof in a professional way, that you don't appreciate this woman telling you wha tyour students think about you? It spointless and every student hates a teacher at one point or another but your not there to be someone's best friend, your there to teach these kids something!

Thanks ladies!! I've been teaching for 10 years, so I know that not all students will like me and that is beyond ok because I'm not going to like all of them either- just a fact. But this teacher is so vindictive. She told other teachers that I was talking about them to administration. My principal wouldn't do anything as she is afraid of this teacher. It's just do pathetic that people have to be so disgusting!!
