Re: Would this be wrong of me or no?

I don't think it's wrong of you to send them out now.

BUT.

We're all recent brides and something like that would matter VERY MUCH to a bride-to-be...and NOT AT ALL to another.

You know your friend. I would gauge it on her 'bride-y-ness'.

Or just wait. There's no harm in waiting.

And actually, I just thought of a reason to wait. Suppose an invite comes back while you're away due to an incorrect address or something, and your dad is collecting your mail...wouldn't he be all like 'why is Jen sending my friend ______ something?'

Re: Would this be wrong of me or no?

I don't think it's wrong per say, but I do think it's awfully early to send an invitation for a birthday party in late June. I wouldn't send them until 4-6 weeks before.

But anyway, how would it 'steal her thunder?' Are you and she inviting all of the same people?????

Just hide them somewhere good, or give them to a friend or family member to hang on to while you're away.

Oh wow--I didn't even think of that! Thanks Kris-I'm going to wait. That would totally happen to me!
