Any secrets to success? I've been doing it for a few weeks now and no luck

Re: WW Points Plus
Yeah, the secret is, go back to the regular Points or Core plans. The new one blows donkey balls. I gave it a good long try and it did diddly for me. Literally NOTHING. All I did was waste money, time and emotions. It seems like people who have small amounts to lose have the hardest time losing on the new plan. Except money. I lost a lot of weight in my wallet from it.
I love WW, but not this plan at all. I'm back to being Core, which is healthy and filling and easy to follow.

I thought this too!! Ok, so I know I'm not crazy- can you switch the account on line or would I have to do it all with the old books?

I've never been an online member, so I'm not sure. I still have my old books though so I just use that for the Points if something is not part of the Core program.

I also don't quite grasp how I'll be at 29 points starting out, with about 8-10 pounds to lose...and that the daily points DON'T GO LOWER THAN 29, EVER.
I do understand that the healthy changes in diet and fitness change your metabolism, but to not go lower than 29 ever seems weird. And at times I had trouble eating 29 points worth of food each day...and it wasn't for lack of trying! But if I have 4 points left at the end of the night and it's either go to sleep or eat 4 points AND I've already followed their good health guidelines to a T all day, then what the eff?
I understand that the concept is to get people away from the 100-calorie packs and such, and I know it's been scientifically proven to work, but it doesn't work for me. I gave it a good long hardcore try and the scale didn't budge. I went back to the old Core plan and it works for me, just like it always did.

Re: WW Points Plus
I'm glad you guys feel like this too. A girl I work with has been doing it for as long as I have and she's lost 25lbs and I'm only down 8. It's so frustrating. I checked online and I don't think there's a way to go back to the old system. I think I'm going to cancel my membership and just go at it on my own. I feel like I'm just throwing away money.

Re: WW Points Plus
Eight pounds is a lot to lose, though! How long have you been following the new program? You should try not to compare yourself to other people...it's hard, but do your best not to.

Re: WW Points Plus
Since January
I just feel like I should be further along. I've been following the program (with the occasional bad week of course) and going to the gym 3-4 days a week. I'm thinking maybe it's just not for me.

Re: WW Points Plus
I started the new program back in December and I loved it (personally more than the old). I feel like I'm eating much healthier on the old plan. The first week on it I lost 5.6 lbs (I still had some post-wedding/honeymoon weight to lose!)One big mistake some people make is eating too many fruits/veggies. Even though they are 0 points, you're only supposed to have 5 servings a day.
Do you work out? I found that helps speed along the weight loss as well.

Re: WW Points Plus
I didn't even know about that. I just read up on it. So basically as long as I eat food on the power foods list I don't count the points? I only count the things not on the list?

Yes, you eat the green pyramid foods (power foods) and anything that's not on that list would come out of your extra 49 points plus values.
There are members that like this better because they don't like counting points or tracking and this method works for them because then they don't have to worry about hitting the 29 points plus values for the day. You should still get in your good health guidelines and then go from there

That's awesome, thanks! I think Sunday when the week starts over I'll try it and see how it goes. Hopefully it works!

Re: WW Points Plus
Ive been on the new plan for about 7 weeks now. Its been pretty good to me. It def is coming off veryyy slow though. But I have always lost weight every week, never gained nor stayed the same.....even when i had 2 ' bad ' weekends, i still lost. I just find that it is coming off a lot slower as opposed to the old planWelcome New Vendors
