Very uncool..
I'd give a gift off the registry (hey, if it's BBB... spend $50.. use a 20% coupon and call it a day!)
Though DH is saying he'd give $100

Re: wwyd: wedding gift related
What do you feel comfortable giving? I would say given the situation either 50 or 100. 50 would be fine given the situation, but if you don't feel comfortable with that you could be the bigger person and give 100. Either way would be fine I think.I had a few friend non-gifters. One friend who brought her husband and didn't even give a card. I'm still trying to make sense of that. Another friend reserved about 80 dollars of stuff off our registry but never purchased the items, again no card. Another friend sent me an email the night before the wedding and said she didn't have the money for a gift (which I understand but she goes out to bars and restaurants all of the time), and another friend said she forgot to give us our gift and would mail it, but I don't know if that'll actually happen. Yes, money is nice, but it's not even about the money. It's not worth being cheap to your friends, it affects how we feel about each other I think.
We also had a lot of generous guests.

Re: wwyd: wedding gift related
I would just do a BBB gift - a place setting and use a coupon or something.

$100...not a penny more or a penny less. I would LOVE to just give like $50 or $80 but I don't think I could do that.
