Someone wanted a FG, but didn't want it to be a family member...they just wanted to essentially rent a FG for the ceremony itself. Didn't want it to be a family member because reception was a no-kids affair and didn't want the FG tagging along to the reception.

That reminds me of when DH and I first got engaged and went to a bridal showcase. There was one of those wedding companies that did everything. The guy even said he 'rented' out his grandchildren as flower girls and ringbearers
