Ok here's some of it. I will finish it off tomorrow and add pics ASAP. My day was amazing!!!
IT WAS PERFECT!!! I am so happy I booked the Fox hollow - everyone there was amazing!!!!


Lenny's Clam Bar - Engagement Dinner (Howard Beach) 03/21/08 ~ I think
We had a small get together of only 30 people. The price was good and so was the service. The food was good and there was plenty of wine. What else could you ask for?

Roma View Catering - Bridal Shower (Howard Beach) 01/31/09
My family has every affair at Roma View and we are always impressed with their food and service. Angela is amazing and has always gone above and beyond for me and my family. I had over 70 people at my shower and LOTS of gifts! My nutty mom surprised me with a stripper. It was really funny b.c I was in the middle of opening up my gifts when a “waiter” came up to me and said “excuse you ordered water?” and me like a tard said, “No, my friend Tara did – I want booze” ~ then the music started pumpin and well…the rest is history. LOL.

Ceremony: St. Mary Gate of Heaven
Father Tom, was amazing. He is so laid back and funny. I know St.Mary Gate of Heaven has gotten a lot of bad reviews for their lack of “service” ~ well, I will admit that they didn’t meet with me for the first time until November 2008 – even though I booked the ceremony in December 2007. I too, called them like crazy to set something up, and every time I called I was told to relax b.c it was too early. But in the end, everything went wonderful. I decorated the aisles with Cherry Blossoms and hired an opera singer to sing the Ave Maria while my hubby and I went to pay our respects to the blessed mother. Father Tom sang the “amen” very beautifully . I was dissapointed that the choir I had attempted to hire for the wedding was unable to . But this was completely my fault. I should have booked them months ago, instead I waited for the last week. I was lucky to have gotten the opera singer . She was fantastic and everyone told me that they had a tear in their eye when she started singing.



Reception: The Fox Hollow
Harry is def. the VIP. He dealt with my mother – enough said. He handled my crazy spanish family like he was a member himself. He was such a sweetheart! He even made the jungle juice (I mentioned it as a joke, and he took it seriously). I can’t say enough about him. I totally heart him.
Denise – I met with her to go over my final count etc. OMG she is soooo funny and super cool! It was such a pleasure to work with her.
Claudia – was my Bridal Attendant. She was fantastic! She took great care of me and made sure that everything was ok.
Booze – People were pretty hammered and were having shots – so I guess mission accomplished.


Food – WARNING: This is NOT a bad review – it is a good review – however, it is an honest one.

I am not too sure. I had the sampler and I picked at diff. things, but I will be honest-we barely ate anything b.c we were busy saying hello to people. But from what I did taste, I thought the shrimp was really good, the steak was ok (they didn’t ask me how I wanted my steak cooked – just realized that), I thought the salmon was good but many people said it was PERFECT, the duck was good (for me) but some people said it was a little dry but not bad and the chicken was alright. I asked some of my guests if they liked their food, two people told me that the steak was dry but not bad .

**** Just spoke to the majority of my friends and they said the food was AMAZING... so whoever got the dry steak - was out of luck, b.c everyone else was vey happy...oh and my guests WERE asked how they wanted their steak cooked (which I am VERY happy about)

I didn’t touch my salad or the lobster ravioli (so p I ss e d) so I cant tell you how it tasted. --- BUT I did hear that it was amazing!!!



The CH my friends said it was good, but my mom who is a very picky person told me that it was nothing special (don’t you just love honesty?) LOL. She’s a funny woman.
VH – Poor Harry had to hear my mothers mouth after the VH came out. She was sooo mad that they couldn’t add “sparklers” to make the entrance more grand. She’s a pis ser. Lol. But they said they couldn’t do it b.c it could contaminate the food or whatever. I had to rescue Harry several times from my mothers senseless wrath. Lol. Everybody loved the chocolate fountain and pastries.
The Inn at Fox Hollow – We didn’t have to pay for it, but even if we had, it was a very nice place and would have been worth the $.

VITTO from Pedestals – FABULUOS!!! TOTALLY LOVE HIM!!! If it wasn’t for him, my room would not have looked anything special. Instead, his CP def. created the atmosphere that I was looking for and made the room look fantastic. He decorated my cake from Erga Bakery – and it came out beautiful!!!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend VITTO, he is a GOD. He is worth every single penny times a million. Vitto if you read this – I owe you a shot !

DIAZ Flowers – Richmond Hill NY. I hired them to set up the cherry blossoms for the church, the BM bouquets and ushers boutoneirs. Even though I love Pedestals, this local place gave me a super affordable price .

Day of Coordinator - Fran Koltun from Cordially Yours All Occasion Network
This woman is amazing and highly professional. I would have been lost without her on my day of. I highly recommend her. My only regret is that I should have hired her sooner- not the night before my wedding. LOL. I am such a procrastinator!!! My ceremony ran smoothly b.c of her - She is an amazing woman.
