Without further hesitation, here is my Brides Review.

Chateau Briand - A+++++++
From the first time I set foot in Chateau Briand I knew I would be making the right choice. I fiirst met with Banquet Manager, Giulio (He's now at the Fox Hollow) He was GREAT!!! I had final appointments with both Lisa and David, they were AWESOME. Sal made sure everything would be set up correctly when I brought in my final payment and centerpeices. That was all the preliminary stuff... The staff is great there.

The day of Elmer was my Maitr'd, GREAT again. I ended up being late to my own wedding due to my make up artist being a PERFECTIONIST!!! But Elmer made sure Tim was no where to be found when my Limo showed up. I saw Elmer grab Tim and run him clear across the lobby, and up the stairs. We I spoke to Tim later he said he felt like he was in a James Bond movie! He didn't even know why he was being pulled clear across the room until he got out of my sight.
Myra and Mayra were my Bridal Attendents. They were great. They made sure I never wanted for anything... They even wrapped me in a table cloth so I didnt get anything on my dress... They all co-ordinated with my photgrapher to make sure we got great shots EVERYWHERE in the hall!!!
The wait staff was the greatest according to my guests. They also never had to ask twice for anything...
The food was the BEST I have ever tasted... I just figured I'd add that since we were talking about a Scotto Brother's Place here! You all know the food is excellent already so why even bother about going into those details!
All in all - GREAT OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH CHATEAU BRIAND - WOULD DEFINITELY RECMMEND!

M&V Limousine - B
Okay so many of you know I was VERY worried about M&V after hearing so many negative comments about them here. But surprisingly I had NO ISSUES other than some old geezer telling me I couldnt pay with a credit card 4 weeks before my wedding. When I called the guy I booked with he said it was COOL and let me make the payment. I did the pick/drop had 4 cars. 2 Cadillacs, a Hummer and the 58 Bentley... The drivers were courteous and they all showed up on time exceot for 1. The Hummer was 10 minutes late but thats not a big deal since they let me slide a half hour with 2 limos that a had waiting for me and my girls... All-in-all I made the experience with them more than it should have been... Take everyone's comments in regards to vendors with a grain of salt and make your own un-biased opinion... Thats one thing I learned through dealing with M&V!

Pedestals - A
I only got my Bo-K, grooms corsage and parents and granparents flowers from them. I made my own centerpeices so I think I got a great price for what I got... I worked with Phyllis at the Howard Beach location and she went above and beyond the call of duty. She was great! My Bo-K was so Pretty, it was 3 dozen all white Roses with Crystal Stephanotis! Grooms Bo-K was 2 white roses with Crystal Stephanotis! They were BE-A-U-TI-FULLLL

Prestige Weddings - Photography - A+
Again I worried about nothing with them. I had a friend that had a negative experience with them and I almost blew my top. But my photographer was great she took pictures and did poses that I had never seen before and I am very glad that we had her. She had a hand in everything that day and even came over to give my husband and I a hug and a kiss for being so open to her unique poses... Since I had paparazzi around her I was able to see how some of the poses came out before I actually get to see my proofs due to the wonders of family members who actually know how to use digital cameras - I am certain that the professional pics came out AWESOME

Brownstone Cake Company - Grooms Cake - A+++++
So I surprised my husband with a grooms cake. An X-BOX his all time favorite pass time. The cake looked so real that I caught the Best Man trying to pick up the controller and asked my hisband why was his X-Box here! DUH It's a CAKE stupid!!! I worked with Alex and she was great she is the owner/baker. I actually never met her only spoke with her over the phone and through e-mails... She is genuinely a great person!

Kings Brass - Trumpeteers - A++
What a great surprise for my guests to be greeted by trumpeteers! Everyone loved them in their mideival costumes. During the cocktail hour they went from table to table with fanfares letting everyone know that the reception was starting...

In the Mixx DJ - A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
They definitely kept the party moving and jumping. Donny was our MC and he was the best choice that we made during the planning of the wedding... He would come get us from wherever we were to let us know when one of the songs we requested to play was about to come on... They were the greatest choice. During the prepartaion we worked with Gina and Donny and they made sure our vision was brought to fruition. We had a special dance with red light up roses that we gave to each couple that was their idea... It turned out great!

RK Bridal - A
I got my gown and the bridesmaid dresses there. They helped me every step of the way! Setting up fittings for all they girls and myself ant the same time, the girls there were the best. I would have given them an A+ but my dress wasn't ready when I went to go pick it up.. They were steaming it and made me wait a half hour.

After Hours Tuxedos Roosevelt Feild Mall - A
They were good as well... My husband worked with Maria with all the tuxes. I wasnt supposed to see the grooms tuxedo or know what it looked like, since my now husband didnt think it was fair that he didnt get to see what I was wearing. But I just so happened to stop by one day after talking with Maria after his fitting and she actually showed me the tux and made sure that I approved before calling him and telling him it was available... He never knew I knew what he was wearing. But hey I'm the bride and nothing was going down that I didnt know about. Thanks Maria!!!


All-in-all I got great feedback from my guests... They all said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! That's what I was going for!

What a perfect day you had! Congratulations!! Everything looked wonderful and I can see what you meant about the someone wanting to play video games with the Groom's cake; it really does look like an X-box!
