Wedding review for 1017bride:

We had a great wedding and everyone had a wonderful time. Overall everything went well.

Vendor Reviews:

Invitations-Dazzle by Jackie. We were very happy with the price and selection and we found her very helpful and knowledgable. If you need more info., please FM me.

Wedding Gown-Paradise Bridal-Gown:Stephanie by Eva Forsyth. A+ for service with Donna and owner, D for service with the two women who helped us with the BM gowns. Donna was not able to help us and these women and the person in charge that day was less than accomdating so we got our dresses at Bridal Suite. FM me if you want to know more. A- for alterations with Rosalie.

BM dresses-Bridal Suite of Patchogue-They gave us a better price than Paradise Bridal and were more willing to work with us. We were stuck because that was the only day we can get the dresses (a Sunday) because we had a few BMs from out of town who came in.
Service for dress purchase: A
Bea the owner was very helpful in this matter.
Service for alterations: D
inconsistent due to limited amount of seamstresses available. The pregnant BMs dresses and my cousins were great. My sister had to get her dress altered elsewhere because due to the lack of seamstresses they did not have any Saturday hours and she could not come in from Manhattan due to her job any other time. (her seamstress was great, FM me if you want the contact info) The other BM's dress was not completed correctly and she had to get it completed elsewhere.

Bridal Shower:Crazy Dog of Sayville
A+
Great service and food. Definitely recommend it for a party.

Rehearsal Dinner: 21 Main.
A+
Great restaurant also owned by the person who owns Land's End, Flowerfields etc. Great service (Andre and Jessica were amazing) and food (everyone loved their meals).

Bridal accesories (veil and tiara):
A
Paradise Bridal-happy with the selection and service with these items although we found the items were cheaper elsewhere.

shoes: Craft Shoes
B+
Great selection, good service. We found out that we could not get our shoes dyed for free unless all the bridesmaids bought their shoes there.

E-ring and Wedding rings-Hertz and Piazza on the Bowery. Jack is so very helpful and had a great selection and reasonable prices.

Wedding Officiant: Rabbi Joel Levinson

He performed a great service. He is very pleasant and easy to work with.

Wedding Location and reception: Land's End

We highly recommend this place. The location, service and food was amazing. Jennifer Barnett, Marietta and Kathy were all great to work with. Every detail was attended to.

We got the proofs and the pictures are amazing. They did a wonderful job. They were so easy to work with and very pleasant.

Video: Classic Video of Commack (Steve)

Very accomdating and helpful. Looking forward to seeing the video, promising due to the samples we saw.

Wedding Band: Faze 4 Orchestras: Play by Play
A+
They were wonderful. They had everyone dancing the whole time. Their selections were great and they are so talented. They are a 10 piece band.

Hair-Zion in Sayville
I wasn't that impressed with the trial but I have been using the hairstylist Richie there for years and saw some of their other work and decided to go with them.
Trial: C-
Day of:A+
Lorraine did a great job the day of the wedding and spend a lot of time on my hair making sure it was just the way I wanted it.

Makeup-Zion in Sayville
Glen is amazing. He did such a wonderful job with the makeup on the trial and the day of. He also gives amazing facials (which I got one a few days before the wedding)

Ketubah: Zion Lion of New Hyde Park
Good selection, prices too high. Would have bought it on the internet instead.

Flowers: Flowers by Burton and Son-
Service: A+
Flowers: A+
Mike was great to work with. He is very attentive and very pleasant. The flowers were all beautiful!

Yarmulkes:We got them from my mom's co-workers Temple. We got a good price on them. They were navy suede.

Tuxedos: Bell Formal Tuxedos-C-
Service was mediocre. Owner in a bad mood and not very nice to the father, FIL and groom and a BM when he first met them on a weeknight (second time he was nicer but didn't apologize for his mood) FIL's tie did not lay right.

Courtyard by Marriot: A
Good service, good price. Gave us our suite for free for wedding night because we booked 20 rooms.

My whole family goes to Zions...they're friends of the family so glenn and richie were invited to my sisters wedding and im inviting them to mine. I definitely want glenn to do my makeup (hes fabulous) and dawn to do my hair (shes done up do's twice for me already and shes great!) I'm glad everything turned out good on your wedding day!
