Flower Michele A+++++++++++ I began my quest for a new florist with FM. Despite the fact that there were some negative things said about them, I had also heard amazing things from non LIW people who used them. I went to FM looking for very specific candelabras that I found on line. John heard my story about FBB and felt so bad for me, it being about 6 weeks before my wedding, that he found the candelabras for me at a wholesale place and bought a whole lot of them for me to rent from him. In addition to that, he made my estimate as close to my original one from FBB as possible so that I wouldn’t really loose any money and I got much, much, much more than I was getting at FBB. Then sadly, John passed away 3 weeks before our wedding. I was a little concerned about what would happen, but his partner Alex and a new employee named Joseph quickly calmed my fears. When I showed up at the hall on the day of my wedding, I cried at how beautiful it was. They threw in a TON of extras just for the “beauty of my event”. I initially paid for two small centerpieces to go around the candelabra. What I got was FOUR. I alternated Candelabras with low centerpieces at every other table. I had 2 low centerpieces at each table and they were HUGE and LUSH and NO GREEN and even more beautiful than I ever expected. I was so pleased. My bouquet was so pretty and the bouquets for my girls were beautiful as well as large. I truly can’t say enough good things about them; I was so pleased I wanted to call Alex from our wedding to tell him. We had candles everywhere (which is what I wanted). People couldn’t believe how beautiful it was and they keep asking me who did our flowers. Their prices were so incredibly reasonable and their customer service was great too. A lot of girls might be put off by them because they have an answering machine and no receptionist, but they get right back to you and they are so flexible and they write very detailed contracts and hide nothing from you. I can’t wait to use them again for something. Such a please to work with.

Exquisite Affairs Productions- Christine Viola. A+ She was amazing. She was only our DOC but she was there every setup of the way. I emailed her so many times and she always had a solution to my problem. On the day of the wedding, she was taking care of absolutely everything; I didn’t even need to think about anything at all but having fun. I highly recommend her. Even my parents think she was the smartest way to spend money at our wedding. She anticipated every issue and fixed it before it was a problem or before we even knew.

After Hours Entertainment-Up lighting- A+ So pretty, it really made the room perfect. It added that extra something that was just what the room needed. And, their prices were fair.

Alive n’ kickin- They truly keep my party rocking. They are not a mainstream band and I never see reviews of them on LIW but they are so reasonably priced and so incredibly talented. People were dancing the entire night. They are true performers. All my guests keep asking me who they were. They are also significantly cheaper than some of the other bands out there.

Milleridge Cottage –A++- Debbie was my banquet manager and she was so amazing. She helped us plan the most beautiful event with the most plentiful and delicious food I have ever seen at a wedding. We had so much seafood and lobster at our wedding it was SICK! And our Viennese was awesome too. Everything from the appetizer down to the dessert was perfect. And the best part, ALL INCLUDED. The hidden gem of the wedding industry is the Milleridge Cottage. All the upgrades at other places are included in one very reasonable package price at the Milleridge and they are so accommodating with changes and things you may or may not like. On the day of our wedding, we had Pam as our Maitre D. I am such a fan of hers, she is amazing. So sweet and always running around to help us with things we needed that day, she felt like a member of our family. Everything from drinks to fixing my broken wedding dress after Christine had left. Pam was super at everything. I was so happy to have her. I have to say, my wedding was one of the best that I have ever been to, it should have been $200 a head for what we got there…but it wasn’t; it was affordable and made our dreams come true.

Camelot Limos – A+ Professional, on time, flexible and great to deal with. Their limos are clean and new and Joe and all of his drivers were wonderful! Joe is really funny and is such a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them whole heartely.

Sandra Baldini- Makeup A++ Some of you know, I had 7 make up trials with different people before I decided on Sandra. She did a totally amazing job on me and all my BP. She is funny and calming and wonderful to be around, and she is a very talented make-up artist. She will do for you whatever you ask her, instead of trying to do the same look on everyone. She did wonderful and ALL my makeup stayed on for hours (except lipstick of course). Her prices are reasonable and she is awesome! Definitely go for a trial with Sandra.

La Rosa Cubana Cigars- A-This was a big hit at our wedding, the cigar roller didn’t speak English though, so there was some confusion about payment. But it worked out. They also forgot the cigar rings we were supposed to have with our package. But, all in all it was great.

La Favorita Favors- This place is owned by a friend’s parents and they did an AMAZING job on our favors. They convinced us to get a much better favor than we were initially going for and I am so glad we did, because people can’t stop raving about them. They were beautiful quality and they were wrapped perfectly with the Italian imported candy coated almonds in a lace pouch. I loved them. When we have parties again in the future, we will use them too! Our guests LOVED getting an actual favor, many people are not doing them anymore, but they were a huge hit! The quality that La Favorita has is second to none and their customer service is perfect!

Cakes by Val- A++++++ This girl is amazingly talented. She works from home so her prices are reasonable. Look at the cake she made us, a police car! It not only looked great, but tasted amazing! FM me if you want her contact information. She can make you anything you want!

Really Pacie? Will Flower Michelle? They were soooo incredibly above and beyond I cant even say enough good things about them. When I met John I was nearly in tears over the other flower situation and he and Alex both calmed my fears and understood my vision. I really cant wait to have an affair to hire them for again!

As someone who was a guest at Jen's amazing wedding, I can say that everything was beautiful. As for the food and all that seafood..one word.. YUM!!!
