11/27/05 Carlyle, Duet,Royalty,Stefans,Peter Greco Review

Don't have any pics to post yet (will shortly) but I've been on this site for a few months now and always looked forward to the reviews of my vendors so I thought I would post my own review. (By the way, I am the groom in the wedding so keep in mind that this is from a guy's perspective.) We have gotten a lot of good ideas/suggestions from this site and some of the vendors we used were solely based on feedback here. So, without any further delay, here we go.

Weather: 9 out of 10. Considering it was the end of November I can't complain about 55 degrees and partly sunny. We took all the outside pics we wanted, but it started to get a little chilly towards the end. Very happy.

Hair - Cactus Salon 10. The Bride/Bridesmaids all looked stunning

Makeup - 9 out of 10 Personal Friend of my Mom's did it. great job.

Limo's - Royalty 10. Showed up early for everything, the cars were exactly as described, and the drivers were all very nice. Couldn't ask for more.

Stefan's Flowers - 10. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the ceremony room looked as well as the tables. the centerpieces & everything were perfect. They were completely set up about 2 hours before the ceremony and had everything in place for the wedding. Perfect job.

Duet Photography/video - Again, a 10. Jay & team were early for everything, took hundreds of shots and couldn't have been nicer to work with. My friends thought we had our own paparazzi as there were 4 people shooting everything and these guys did not miss a beat. we went to the bar to do a shot with our friends and one of them went up in a chair to get an overhead shot. They were at my parents house and when I went to shave they followed me in and took pics of that. They didn't miss anything.

Peter Greco Band - 10+++. EVERYONE raved about the band and the dance floor was jam packed the whole night. They did a phenomenal job during the ceremony & cocktail hour as well. They learned our wedding song for us, sang happy birthday to one of our guests who turned 85 that day and didn't forget a special song with my wife & FIL after their special dance. One of our guests got a fractured rib from dancing a little too hard. That says it all.

Carlyle - 10++++++++++++. Absolute best across the board. Service was incredible, the coordinator and bridal attendant were there for every step and we wanted for nothing. Our suite was stocked with food right after the ceremony and we never waited for a drink. Every time we went back to the table there was more food & drinks there. The food was incredible, everyone loved every course. The place looked beautiful and they worked with us on everything we wanted. They treated us like a king and queen every second we were there.

All I can say is that it was the best day of our lives and what you take away from it is not that all the details worked out perfectly, but all the love we felt from our guests and how happy everyone was to be there celebrating our wedding. That is what made the night so perfect.

YEAY! Congratulations--you've GOTTA love Peter Greco! He was definitely one of my favorite vendors and I'm glad they performed well for you guys! Can't wait to see pictures.
