Words cannot describe how fantastic this place is. From the moment we walked in DH and I knew it was the place for us. We were so anti marble and mirrors that usually cover catering halls...and when we felt the warmth of WM..there was no doubt in our minds. We totally envisioned our day there from the start...an old world feel that made for an intimate family feeling. Our maitre d was Sandra and Ines was bridal attendent. Both were so sweet and helpful. From the second we go there to the second we left we felt like royalty and nothing was overlooked. Our guests called all weekend after the wedding to tell us how wonderful the food was and that it was the best wedding they had been to. Because we got married in the winter, we took our Epics in the gardens here since we wouldnt be doing that on the day of. It turned out to be a great idea as we got some nice shots of their grounds which is usually why weddings are booked there in the first place. I dont have 1 single negative thing to say about this place. Natasha was our bm and she dealt with my phone calls and emails for months....she was so helpful and took our worries away. Def consider this place...seriously...you will be thrilled!

I recommend Lisa to everyone who may be considering a DOC. She was absolutely fabulous. She met with me 2x before the wedding to go over everything I needed help with, and she even attended the rehearsal dinner to organize my big bridal party. On the day of she helped so much and made sure everything was taken care of so my friends and family could just relax and enjoy the wedding. Everything was perfect and I owe her so much for that!

I was referred to Elena by an old high school friend who was my current hairdresser. She had used Elena for her wedding and bragged about her to no end. I set up a trial with her and LOVEd it. I was so happy to book one person that could do both hair and makeup as this seemed to be so easy and would keep moms house less crowded on the day of. My ceremony started at 4:30pm and by 8:40am Elena was at my house and started setting up. She was so sweet and told me to relax and that we could get started at 9ish. When finished with me and my mom I was thrilled. My hair and makeup came out even better than the trial although is was the same style and colors. I was so excited and she stayed until the photogs showed up to make sure all was perfect. For an additional fee...she would have stayed the entire night...touching me up..but being that I had a DOC...that wasnt necessary. I definitely urge you ladies to try her out....!

I didnt even shop around for limos because I knew I was going to use Royalty. They have been around for years and I used them since I was in 8th grade for every event I could think of....very reliable. We booked A LOT of cars and even won a free one at a Westbury Manor showcase. On the day of they showed up an hour early and were all wonderful. Since we had time to kill before the ceremony I started to get anxious and the drivers were so sweet telling me how great I looked and keeping me calm and relaxed. They got us to the church and were very mindful of all our gowns watching as we exited so nothing got caught on the cars. They also rolled out our runner and spoke with the photogs to make sure all was set up perfectly.


FORIST A

I booked with then after calling a few places and being blown away with ridiculous prices. I am not a fan of flowers EVERYWHERE and didnt want them overpowering me or the tables. I was going for a subtle look and they did just that for me. For one, I hate roses so my only request was NO ROSES! lol Aside for leaving out the pearls on my bo-k...they did a fab job.... No complaints at all. They kept in contact with me and answered my annoying emails. Our centerpieces were candelabras that we purchased online and all they did was run some ivy up the middle and add a wreath of white flowers around the bottom. My guests as well as servers at WM commented on how much they loved them because of their simplicity. That they were antique looking and set the feel for the whole look of our wedding. I was so happy to hear that. As for the other flowers...everything arrived at my home 1/2 hour early and the bo-ks were just what I wanted. And the price....WOW...great deal!

RENEGADE (LI PARAMOUNT)
Words cannot even describe how great this band is. I dont think that there was 1 single guest that did not mention them to me and how much they enjoyed the music. I had booked them because they played my friends wedding on 12/31/06 and boy am I glad I did. We met with Dave first to book and then about 2 weeks before to go over entrance and important dance songs. All we did was tell him what NOT to play and the things we liked.... That night they just totally played off the crowd and went with it! The dance floor was packed all night and they were a HUGE hit!

Mike at Esquire was fabulous! When we first went to meet him he was such a huge help since we didnt really know what we wanted. He gave us a great price and called us several times to check in. We rented DH's and the ring bearers vest from Mens warehouse since it was the style we wanted and no one else had it but Esquire worked with us on this and made everything perfect!

As crazy as this sounds..I picked my gown out years ago when a friend of mine got married. I saw it and knew IMMEDIATELY that it was the one for me....a total throwback to renaissance times...yet not costumey...lol My friends and mother thought I was crazy but when I put it on for them they understood why I loved it so much. Its definitely not a dress many would where...but it was my DREAM gown and I wouldnt have traded it for the world. My bustle was to DIE for and I didnt want to take my gown off at the end of the night! Since I was so big and poofy...my girls went the same way and picked an Alfred Angelo gown....my jr bms werent big enought to fit in it, so both of them and my flower girl ordered a similar style gown from Bill Levkoff. The color was navy blue (since its my fave color) and it was gorgeous on all of them! The salon was nice to work with but because they lost their lease we had to pick the dresses up months early and my alterations were done then as well. I was nervous about this but it all worked out. Now, someone else owns the store so it is still in business.

We booked with Duet right away because they gave us a GREAT price and package for our winter wedding. We took epics with Danny and loved him so much right away. He made both of us feel so comfortable in front of the camera which I didnt think would be such an easy task. He was very personable and when we got the pics back we were thrilled. Along with Danny, we had Nick as our 2nd photog for the wedding and Shawn for video. On the day of... other photographers came along with them for no fee! They were amazing and although I havent seen the finished products of all their work yet...I was definitely impressed. My guests even commented about how wonderful they were and when friends ran over to John and I to take pics with us...one of Duets guys was right there with them to take a professional one too. I was so happy about that! When Mr. Met showed up they flashed away like crazy along with our guest so that should be fun to see! I am truly thrilled with my choice of Duet. They were patient with the 6 kids in our bridal party and the sometimes rowdy (while drinking) groomsmen. When they finished doing their thing..they always checked with us to see if there were any other pictures we wanted.

I had a great experience with this company. Although the runner was pricey because of the material and design we chose...I was thrilled with it. Dh and I plan to cut out the monogrammed piece to make a wall tapestry out of it then possible some throw pillows or something like that with the rest.....with 130 feet of material...we can fill the whole apartment with pillows! lol

we purchased our invites at this discount site and we LOVED them. Got 175 with all the stuffings and envelopes for $350. I was one of those brides paying their own way and could not justify spending more than that on something people throw away.... They were simple and elegant and after ordering them we received them in the mail in about 3 days. Def recommend them!

We originally loved the idea of having a roller but decided against it for a few reasons. Instead, we went with a cigar server. She came for the last 2 hours of the reception and went from table to table offering personalized cigars to our guests. It turned out to be a big hit with the guests and we just had a few cigars leftover which DH gladly took home with us.
