Of course I want to start by saying that my wedding was by far the most perfect day of my life! I loved every second of it and was worth the year and a half of stress and planning, of course I wouldn’t of known where to start without LI weddings even from my Engagement party…………


LIWeddings A++++++

Thanks to the girls and vendors on this site, I was given so many ideas, vendors, and ways to vent when this wedding was making me crazy! I truly believe that this site is a great place for us girls when planning a wedding, I really don’t know what would have been had I not found LIweddings!

Engagement Party A+ Whitehouse Restaurant Whitestone Queens

The Whitehouse is right up the block from my house and could fit over a hundred people which we needed due to our large families. They were accommodating, reasonably priced and the food was great!


Bridal Shower A+ Giardino’s Restaurant Douglaston Queens

My sister and bridesmaids planned my shower, and picked this restaurant because they knew it was one of my favs, everyone raved about the food and the service was great, they also fit my large guestlist of about 60 people, I would definitely recommend them.

Rehearsal Dinner A+ Carosello’s Restaurant Howard Beach Queens

This restaurant also has the same owners of Giardino’s and Russo’s on the Bay, so I knew we couldn’t go wrong. It was ten minutes from my church and had great food and service.

Grooms Cake A+ Cakes by Mona

I knew the Shea Stadium cake would be a huge hit with my DH who is a die hard met fan. The cake came out beautiful and was a great success! It looked and taste wonderful.

Dress A Kleinfeld’s

I knew I just had to get my dress at Kleinfeld! Although I shopped around at a few other boutiques, they had the biggest selection of dresses and I found my dress at a Michelle Roth trunk show. The service was top notch, and they made me feel like a princess. Maria M did my alterations and did an amazing job, she was a pleasure to work with.



Flowers A+++ Flower Michele

John was amazing and really knew his stuff, my flowers were beautiful, and even last for days after the wedding, not a single complaint!






Limos A Royalty Limos

They were clean courteous and on time. My only complaint is that they were very hard to contact regarding the wedding prior to for adding on the shuttle bus, etc. We had the 30 passenger party bus, shuttle vans, and a limo. The party bus was a great time, highly recommended!



Pippy’s Sweets, Invitations, programs, and place cards. A++++

Before the wedding people could not stop talking about my invitations! Diana did a wonderful, job. The invitations were unique, classy, not to mention reasonable for pocket fold invites. My program fans were also done by her because I did not have the time or patience to do them myself! She put a picture of us on the program behind the writing and it looked great

This was one of my favorite vendors!!!! There was not one second of the night when the dance floor wasn’t packed! Even during dinner people were dancing, they hardly played slow songs because people wanted to party! Love this vendor!!! The photo montage was wonderful and brought me to tears along with the wedding highlites that they put along with the videographer








Favors Fox's Gift Shop Flushing Queens A

I found my espresso cup favors here, it was right by my house and they wrapped them for me....this saved me alot of trouble and was so worth it!

I didnt want to spend alot on shoes since iknew i would never wear them again! They were went great with my dress, but were completely uncomfortable!

Photography By Verdi A+++~ Rich and Mindi WERE my favorite vendors! Basically i barely knew they were there, because their photojournalistic eyes captured all of my amazing shots! They were so easy to work with and 1500 proofs later my pics are amazing!!!

DOC~ ROSALIE~A+++++

Basically Rosalie was a lifesaver, she was there from start to finish for every little thing i needed, i was not bothered once the entire night because i had her, if you are debating a DOC it is WORTH the money!!!!!!! I also had a tremendous bridal party and she help me keep them in check so i didnt look like the b!tch.....


Lastly LEONARDS OF GREAT NECK A++++

I did initially have some doubts about Leonard's after reading some reviews, but thankfully none of what i read was proven true. That night I had TWO Bridal ATtendants and a Maitre D who on top of my DOC were there for whatever i needed. Our private cocktail hour was great because it was in our big bridal suite where we also had a balcony for the smokers. This was important to me because my entire wedding was smokers and I didnt want everyone outside all night! The room looked perfect, my cake, the food, everything was perfect! Everyone is still raving about the Vienese hour. All of you Leonard's brides will not be dissapointed!!!!
