Queens County Farm- A- We rented out the pavilion for the ceremony and the barn for the reception. It is inexpensive but after renting out chairs, linens, china ware etc. It gets pretty expensive. But the scenery is beautiful if you like greenery and do not mind animals. Your occasional rooster might be walking by. They are pretty laid back at the farm which is a good thing and a bad thing. Pretty much it's a hands on experience at the farm. If you want spotless windows you have to go do it yourself etc. But they let you decorate anyway you please. Also, They do not have a safe security system when your rental company delivers your items. It is just placed in the inside of the barn and anyone can take things from there. Other than that I would do it again there. The only reason I give an A- is because they do not have a good system of making sure that the things that are rented are not stolen.






Jadore Love Photography A infinity ++++Vendors here on LIW
They are talented photographers. They captured every moment beautifully!! We first found them on craigslist before they joined here. And we were not dissappointed. Jenn & Efrain are beautiful people inside and out. I am not very comfortable when taking photos but they made me feel at ease. Even though I was 30 minutes late to get home. They were already snapping away at all the details. Thank God!! Never once did they rush me and they were never intrusive. Love them!!











Flowers and Designs by Gina A infinity ++++ Vendors here on LIW
Gina was great from the start. She worked with my budget!! gave me great ideas as to my plant centerpieces that we were looking for. She created gorgeous samples and let me take them home!!! She quickly responds to emails which is great because brides can be very needy. Never made me feel like i was 'just another bride' Very talented as well!! Fresh gorgeous flowers. Unfortunately, I do not have a great photo of the plant centerpieces and the ceremony floral arrangements. I was running late at home therefore making the photographers late to get to the farm on time to take photos of some details.

Lisa-Elite Affairs A infinity ++++ Vendor here on LIW
Lisa was an amazing DOC. We don't know what we would have done without her!!! She was always moving on and about. would making sure things were running smoothly. She even took on responsibilities that weren't hers!! She is the best D.O.C and more!! Also, her assistant Nicole was amazing! They make a great team! Lisa came to our ceremony rehearsal and made sure everyone was listening and lined them all up. The day off she was there till the end and gathered all of our belongings.

Had the guests dancing all night long. DJ Louie and MC Curtis kept old and young entertained. They played a little bit of everything we wanted to hear! They worked with our budget and were very friendly!

Purchased a customized 3 piece set from Ann 2 weeks before our wedding. It really came out gorgeous and only paid $20 for the set!!!!




Shoes-Sandy's shoes in Massepequa A++++
$80 for shoes that were pretty uncomfortable but cute. only wore them for the ceremony then off they went.

Hair- Sophie Vieg at Devachan Salon A infinity ++++
Since I was running late she helped me put on my dress and she did my hair in ten minutes. Being that she is a curly hair expert I had no worries about it! Worked very well under pressure! Beautiful person and she gave me a natural style which I was looking for and this was with no hair trial!!!





Makeup-Greg Mario Diab Salon 212-226-6595
Greg is a lovely person! I brought a picture of what I wanted and he did exactly that. But first he told me he was going to change the lip gloss color since it didn't suit my skin color. I've seen him do makeup before and fell in love with it. He did my mothers makeup too!

Dress-David's Bridal Northern Blvd. A infinity ++++
I didn't have an appointment and went there early one morning and found 'the dress' They were very helpfu!! I've heard complaints about them before but perhaps since I was the only customer there...I didn't have any problems. oh and I bought it on sale for $99 originally $999!!!




Cake-Elizabeth Cakes B-

The cake was tasty but it was a little pricey for not being as smooth as the picture of the cake she showed me. She delivered the cake in 3 separate tiers which she asked the best man to carry inside. Being that he did not want the cake layers to fall on the floor he accidentally left fingerprints creases at the bottom of each layer. Also, she told me I was going to get a silver stand and I received silver foil. I did enjoy the marshmallow fondant. The cake flowers were provided by Gina the florist.




DK Bridal Alterations-Queens Village, NY A infinity ++++

I found out I was pregnant in May and I had already purchased my dress on sale at David's bridal. So I had to wait a month before the wedding to get my dress altered since I didn't know how big I would get. They were great especially that I brought them my dress at the last minute. He gave me a french bustle, completely re-did the back of my dress to a corset style so I would be able to tighten and loosen it. All for $80! Also, took my mothers dress and my mother in laws dress to get altered. Even though I got my dress the day before the wedding what more could I ask from this Angel that took me in only 1 month away from the wedding!

We didn't want anything too extravagant. So we rented two Lincoln town Cars L edition for pick up and drop off. One Limo for my parents and I and the other for the groom. They were here on time and I did make the driver wait... remember I was running late. The driver was nicely dressed. paid a total of $180 tip included!!!

Purchased the coasters on ebay. 65 coasters for $72!!! I made the labels myself. It came with the cute little ribbon too.




DIY projects
Purchased the invite at Micheals Craft Store.



We wanted to incorporate our furry kids so they were our table numbers.


Purchased the treasure box at Micheal's. Made the little purple pillow and sewed a little silver jewel with ribbon in the middle to tie the rings.

I've always felt LInens are way too pricey just to cover a table but nonetheless they were very friendly and we received all our linens.

We found Anne thru craigslist. She was very reasonable in cost. We wanted all the raw footage and that is what we got. Then we are having the footage edited later on by Eventrix Productions. They took great footage and can't wait to see it edited!


Olivia Martinez on the Violin A infinity ++++
Thank god for video because the day went so fast that I couldn't even recall hearing her play. The violin is my favorite instrument and I wanted to appreciate her play the songs we requested! She is amazing!



Last but not least...Our Outside Caterers

JJ's Catering-Massepequa D-
I am happy that they showed up and with food that was edible. But for some reason they felt certain things weren't there responsibility. We had a food tasting that was delicous but when it came down to our wedding day. It was something else. It wasn't bad but it wasn't the same style of food we had tasted. But why get upset when there is nothing you can do in that moment. Just breath and let it go....Thank God for Lisa and NIcole....they helped setting up and breaking down!!
