Congratulations & thanks so much for your advice on the dress, etc. I am surprised to learn about the poor service at WM. Your pictures are very lovely & like that you gave some of your wedding $$ to local community shops. Congrats again!!

I agree...I've never heard a bad review about them either...I can understand your point about being rushed but I also see the hall's point about both brides being late...regardless nice review - you looked pretty, beautiful dress

Re: August 5th Review: Westbury Manor and much more
Congratulations!
I would love to see more photos
I have to say, we totally understand your frustration. Our wedding day was rearranged as well to cocktails, ceremony & reception. And this is the case although DH was at the hall hours before the ceremony and I arrived at least an hour early as well.
George did rub my DOC and one MOH the wrong way after making a smart remark but DH loved George and the way he ran our wedding. The guests were escorted from the ceremony area to cocktails for 90 minutes (pre-arranged it to be longer) and then once our lost minister arrived we had the ceremony and reception.
And we were the only wedding that night. I cannot even imagine the chaos with two bridal parties running late and what must have been hundreds of wedding guests waiting.
