Brooklyn/Staten Island Wedding with photos - Updated with highlights video

Our Russian-American-Jewish wedding, on Thanksgiving, took place in Brooklyn. We live on Staten Island.

This is my 5-minute thank-you wedding highlights video:

The quality is not very good online, though.
We sent this DVD to all of the guests with the thank you cards.

We did not use the LIW vendors; we used Brooklyn/Staten Island vendors. Please FM me for information about any of them.
However, I could not have done this without all of the ideas and advice from the LIW girls! Thank you!

We were so lucky that the weather was perfect this Thanksgiving! The leaves in the park were green, orange, red, and yellow, so the background of the photos was just perfect.

We took the photos of just the two of us a few months before the wedding, on the day of the hair and make up trials, to have enough time. Then we had a full day photo shoot on the day of the wedding, too.

Funny story:
My then fiance walked into the bridal room 15 minutes before the ceremony and said, 'Promise you won't get mad!.' You can imagine the thoughts running through my mind at that time. Then he told me that he forgot our marriage license at home. So we weren't really married at our wedding. We had to go the next day at 6:30am to the officiant, where he took us to a Dunkin Donuts, where we actually signed everything. So, essentially, we got married in Dunkin Donuts!

Engagement: We met seven years ago, when we went out with my best friend (She's the blond bridesmaid in the pictures, so everything is ok!) She was more interested in his friend with whom she'd set me up, and I was more interested in having a conversation with her then boyfriend. They broke up (their relationship just didn't work out, and it wasn't serious to begin with) and he and I met 4 months later at a nightclub when I was dating someone else. He asked for my phone number under the pretense of discussing my friend, and she encouraged this relationship (as long as I'd set her up with his friend!)
He gave me a promise ring a few months later, while on a horse in Central Park, on our way to dinner at Tavern on the Green. A few years later he proposed by the River Cafe (some of the wedding photos had been taken there), and then reproposed a few years later in front of my family and friends with a larger ring at my surprise 25th birthday party that he organized for me! We were going to get married years ago, but decided to instead invest the wedding money in a down payment for a house.

This year, we decided to have the wedding, and we planned this wedding in about 4 months.

Thats a funny story for your kids one day. To avoid that, our officiant actually wants us to mail him the license before the wed day...that way he will def have it.

First off, I looooove the color of your BM dresses. I always love it when I see girls who take a little 'risk 'with the colors, haha. Yours looked AMAZING and perfect for the season. Also, your pictures are so fun and flirty, they really showed a lot of personality. Congratulations on a gorgeous wedding!!
